This family traveled from New Orleans for their family photos! We made two stops- The BeltLine & Centennial Olympic Park!
Gemma and her family met me in Atlanta for a family session at two locations: the Confetti Mural on the Atlanta BeltLine and Centennial Olympic Park. She is a fellow photographer and stylist, so she always prepares THE most epic outfits. Since we were photographing at two separate locations, of course mama brought an outfit change for everyone!
Below I’m recapping their session for anyone looking for family photos at the Atlanta BeltLine and Centennial Olympic Park, but head here if you want more details about my family photography!

Our first location was the Atlanta BeltLine, specifically the Hense polka dot wall. This rainbow polka-dot wall is full of bright, happy colors. Mom chose coordinating colors of vivid purples, yellow, orange, magenta, and blues.

Mom wore a mauve silk gown with a navy sweater and brown heels. Dad wore a coral shirt, burgundy sweater, blue jeans, and colorful sneakers.

Their daughter wore a magenta dress with a navy and gold jacket. The boys wore colorful shirts, pants, jeans, and sneakers. Talk about a rainbow!! Their clothes made me soooo giddy!

My favorite photo was everyone holding hands in a line from oldest to youngest. Their happy faces glancing at each other made my heart grin. I wanted to focus on connection, so they did playful hugs and tickles for the best smiles.

I told the parents to SCRAM so I could photograph just the kiddos. Then dad hugged mom from behind and whispered sweet naughty nothings in her ear. I literally had everyone be crazy, squeeze someone nearby, and play around. The kids needed no further instruction!

We moved down the BeltLine and stopped beneath blooming trees. It’s always fun navigating the BeltLine because it’s full of energy and lively people.

Next, they changed outfits and headed to Centennial Olympic Park down the road. Of course we had to feature SkyView, the iconic Atlanta ferris wheel.

Their outfits were more dapper, with tweed and linen suits for the boys. All the boys wore matching brown leather dress shoes.

Mom wore a grey sparkly evening gown with a leather jacket. Their daughter wore a light pink tulle dress with lace embroidery and silver heels.

Centennial Olympic Park has so many different landscapes for family pictures. There are stone pathways, stairs, rocks, ponds, water features, Atlanta buildings, and busy city streets.
I stood the family together on a stone pathway for a classy photo. But you know I can’t let a family leave without a bear hug squeeze. Mission: squeeze the air outta them!

The ferris wheel was ready for its grand debut, lit up in the distance. Mom and dad got all cutesy before we photographed each parent with their kids.

We finished with one last family photo sitting on the steps. The iconic Atlanta ferris wheel was glowing behind them.

It has been such an honor to watch this family grow through the years. I love getting to follow families through life and watch their personalities blossom. This family traveled from New Orleans to Atlanta for family pictures three different times.
